    Applications are invited from male Indian citizens fulfilling the eligibility criteria for recruitment to the following posts in SSB :
    • Constable (Driver) : 824 posts (UR-311, OBC-118, SC-241, ST-72, Ex.SM-82), Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 +GP Rs.200, Age : 18-28 years as on 01/08/2012.
    Application Fee : Application fee will be Rs. 50/-  for candidates belonging to General and OBC categories in favour “Accounts Officer, FTR Hqrs. SSB Guwahati” payable at Guwahati, Assam. No fee will be charged from SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen.

    How to Apply : Eligible and desirous candidates should send their applications in the prescribed proforma with attested passport size photographs duly affixed on the application form and admit card and duly completed in all respect on or before 01/08/2012 to The Inspector General, FTR HQ (SSB), Guwahati, Nikita Complex, 345, G.S.Road, Research Gare, Guwahati-22, Assam.  (Last date is 08/08/2012 for the candidates from far-flung areas)

    • Assistant Sub-Inspector (Telecom) :  76 posts (UR-48, Sc-07, ST-04, OBC-10, Ex.SM-07), Pay Scale :  Rs. 5200-20200 grade pay Rs. 2800, Age : 18-25 years
    • Head Constable (Telecom) : 250 posts (UR-99, SC-66, ST-27, OBC-33, Ex.SM-25), Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 grade pay Rs.2400, Age : 18-23 years
    Application Fee : Application fee will be Rs. 50/-  for candidates belonging to General and OBC categories in favour  of “Accounts Officer, SSB, FTR HQ, Ranikhet,”. No fee will be charged from SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen.

    Application Forms : Application forms are available in all the post offices/ sub post offices of Himachal Pradesh and other  outlets of authorized dealers in Himachal Pradesh. The cost  of application form is Rs. 170/- for General Category Candidates and  Rs. 65/- for reserved categories
